Our conference is designed to call attention to Alabama's  issues of child abuse, literacy, teen pregnancy, and view healthy families as answers to our economic well-being.  Through dialogue, seminars, workshops, prominent national and state speakers, the National Institute for Human Development (NIHD) in collaboration with state and local agencies and organizations, will seek solutions to help service providers, develop strong, active roles of fathers in the lives of their children and their communities during this two day conference..
